PRIZE CLAIMS
What If a Winning Kerala Lottery Ticket Is Lost?
Why keeping the original ticket secure is important and what to verify after a loss.
Why the original matters
Prize claims generally require verification of an authentic ticket. A screenshot or remembered number may not establish entitlement.
Act without delay
Contact the appropriate lottery authority to ask whether any remedy exists under the rules relevant to your situation.
Document known details
Record the scheme name, draw number and any purchase information you have, without assuming those details replace the original.
Prevention
Store tickets away from moisture, tearing and excessive handling, and avoid exposing identifying marks online.
Where to verify the latest information
Use the official Kerala State Lotteries result portal to select the matching scheme, date and draw number. For claims, prices, tax and procedure, consult the relevant current rules or government notice. This page is general guidance, not a substitute for the published document.
